Then She Recalls Her Dead Mother "Naseemah" Naseemah (played by Sami Khan) is a fairly well off, modern, educated woman with a loving husband and two tween-age daughters. Sukhiya is Khairun's younger sister. She lives with her family in Karachi who teach English at a school. Sukhiya has been in love with Asim for a very long time but Asim is currently dating another girl. Asim's best friend Noya has been getting Sukhya to do his homework for him as he cares little for his studies. Asim has asked Noya to help Sukhiya but he refuses. He is still in love with Asim. When Asim's mother comes for a visit, the two find that they like each other. They almost kiss but are interrupted by Noya. They begin to date, but it doesn't last long as Sukhiya falls ill during their first date and Asim rushes her to the hospital soon after. Later, Asim's mother tells him that Sukhiya has moved back to India and she wants him to return there for good. He reluctantly does so, but once back he finds out that his father was cheating on his mother with another woman and so he ends up leaving again, this time for good.
